Question 1

Is the bin store still open?

Accepted Answer

No, our Ogden bin store has permanently closed. Treasure Trove is now 100% online auctions, with local pickup for everything you win.

Question 2

Where do I place bids?

Accepted Answer

All of our auctions run on HiBid. Click any 'Bid Now' button on this site and you'll land on our live catalog. Registration is free and only takes a minute.

Question 3

How does bidding work?

Accepted Answer

Each lot has a closing time. You can bid the current increment or set a maximum bid, and the system will bid on your behalf up to that amount. If someone bids in the final moments, the lot's timer extends so you always get a chance to respond.

Question 4

What do lots start at?

Accepted Answer

Most lots open at $5 with no reserve. The final price is whatever the bidding decides, which is how our winners routinely land items for a fraction of retail.

Question 5

What kinds of items do you auction?

Accepted Answer

Electronics and tech, home and kitchen goods, appliances, tools, outdoor and sporting gear, apparel, accessories, toys and more. Inventory changes with every auction.

Question 6

What condition are the items in?

Accepted Answer

Lots are a mix of overstock, shelf pulls and customer returns. Every listing includes photos and condition notes, so read the description carefully before bidding.

Question 7

How and when do I pick up my items?

Accepted Answer

Pickup is at 3651 Wall Ave Suite 1000, Ogden, UT 84405. Our counter is open Mon to Fri 10am to 5:30pm, Sat 10am to 3pm, closed Sunday. Bring your invoice, printed or on your phone, and collect within the window stated in that auction's terms.

Question 8

Do you ship?

Accepted Answer

Most lots are local pickup only. If shipping is available on a particular auction, it will be stated in that auction's terms.

Question 9

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Invoices are emailed as soon as the auction closes and are paid through the HiBid checkout using the payment methods listed in the auction terms.

Question 10

Can I return something I won?

Accepted Answer

All sales are final. Lots are sold as-is, where-is, which is why we photograph and describe every item before it goes up for bid.

Question 11

What happens if I don't pick up my winnings?

Accepted Answer

Unclaimed lots are forfeited after the posted pickup window and may result in your bidding account being restricted. If something comes up, contact us before pickup ends.
